Who We Are

The Society of St. Gregory the Great is a fellowship of those in the Mobile and Dothan areas who wish to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church while maintaining the distinct elements of the Anglican Patrimony that nourished our lives as Anglicans.  The Society’s goal is to build up a Catholic community that will form a mission in the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, the Ordinariate for former Anglicans in the United States and Canada.

Worship Services

The Society of St. Gregory the Great offers Evening Prayer in traditional English with hymns from the 1940 Hymnal according to The Book of Divine Worship in the St. Joseph side chapel of St. Mary's Church, 1453 Old Shell Rd, Mobile.  Our service begins at 5PM.  Worship will begin in Dothan this Spring.
